Microsoft has released a Windows 10 update that can disable your Microsoft Car navigation system from launching, making it less likely to launch apps that want to interact with the Windows 10 system.
The update is available for download in the Microsoft Windows Update channel for those running Windows 10 Professional, Enterprise, Education, and Ultrabook.
Microsoft has also published a post that explains how to disable the Windows Car navigation software from launching.
To disable the system, open Settings and click the Start button in the top right corner of the screen.
Scroll down to General and then click the Advanced tab.
Uncheck the box for “Allow the Windows car navigation to launch automatically when you turn on the device,” and click OK.
It should now appear in your system tray, with the button to turn on your car’s navigation system appearing next to it.
You can uninstall the update and then reinstall it as normal.
We’ve been using the new update for some time now, and have not found any issues with it.
This is a good start to fixing a problem that was a little bit annoying for us.
The update also adds an option to disable app access to Cortana, so that Cortana can’t open apps that don’t have Cortana integration.
This is a pretty useful feature, and we don’t really need the app access.
The only downside to the update is that you need to enable it from the Start menu or in the System Tray, and then you can disable it in the Settings app.
If you do this, you will have to disable Cortana’s ability to search for contacts, search for restaurants, and so on, which is a little disappointing, as Cortana is an indispensable tool for Windows 10.
